On my blog you will find an occasional “affiliate” link, which means if you click through to a product and purchase that product, I will receive a small percentage of the sale, without any increase in cost to you. Sometimes clicking on these links, will activate ” cookies”, meaning that I can still receive a percentage of your purchase if you make it at a later time. The length of time varies from site to site. Sometimes it is 24 hours, sometimes a few weeks (although it is usually much shorter than that). There are ways to disable cookies on your computer, but I want to remind you that any percentage I receive of an affiliate purchase does nothing to increase your total and helps support the costs associated with running a blog. I appreciate any and all financial support you can give me through affiliate purchases.
I also want you to know that I was very selective when selecting these affiliate programs. I only recommend products that I use personally. In fact, I specifically picked companies that offer the products that I already use. When I plan a birthday party or buy holiday t-shirts for my kids, I go through several websites until I find the exact product I want. As a convenience, I am compiling all of my favorites in one place. For example, if I only like the Star Wars party plates from Birthday Express (one of my favorites!) and the party favors on Amazon.com, you will find both listed there. I also plan to do a Holiday Clothes Round-Up for each Holiday so you don’t have to search all over the place to find something that you like!
With that in mind, if you already shop on these websites on a regular basis and you want to send a little blog love my way, come to this page and click on the appropriate banner link below (regardless of what you purchase) and it will still send me a percentage to help cover monthly blog costs. Thanks for supporting Joy in the Works!
